Note on How the Govee AI Sync Box 2 Works
The Govee AI Sync Box 2 functions as an intermediate device that captures the video signal from an external HDMI source (such as a PlayStation, operator TV box, PC, etc.). It then forwards the image to your TV while simultaneously projecting the matching colors onto the LED lights.
Important: The Sync Box does not work directly with the TV alone. The TV must act as a monitor, meaning it must receive a video signal through an HDMI cable. If the TV is not receiving an HDMI input from an external device, the lighting synchronization will not function.
